Little VIPs is a TUSLA registered preschool catering for children from 2 years 6 months. We are located on the grounds of Breaffy National School and share close working ties with the wider school community. Little VIPs was established in 2005 and since that time we have we had the privilege of offering high quality early years education and care to hundreds of children. We strive each day to provide a caring ethos and a warm, affirming atmosphere in which children can flourish to reach their full potential.

Our preschool incorporates the Early Childhood Care and Education Programme (ECCE). The ECCE programme is a universal two-year preschool programme available to all children within the eligible age range (see ECCE calculator). It provides children with their first formal experience of early learning prior to commencing primary school. The programme is provided for three hours per day, five days per week over 38 weeks per year. The programme year runs from September to June each year.

At Little VIPs we pride ourselves on creating a positive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop their interests and self-expression while becoming active agents in their own learning. This is facilitated through a broad-based curriculum which integrates music, creative arts and a wide range of different types of play to support children’s holistic development. Our indoor and outdoor environments are purposefully organised to develop children’s curiosity, creativity, imagination and desire for exploration.
